Kampot Dar-laing Newsletter

The purpose of the Dar-laing newsletter is to provide details of local projects and information for visitors, and a place of advertising for local Khmer and expat businesses. It's printed every three to four months. Proceeds from advertising go directly to local volunteer projects. The last donations went to the Foundation to Help the Poor and Kampot Children's Fund.

What does Dar-laing mean?

To "dar-laing" is to cruise around the place, hence in Kampot you will witness the popular activity of casual strolling, cycling or moto-ing about town, particularly in the early evening. The riverfront is an excellent place for dar-laing-ing and soaking up beautiful sunsets.
