Kampot Children''s Fund

The KCF is a small fund, raised from donations by private individuals, which aims to help poor and disadvantaged children in Kampot to finish their basic education. A supplement to current projects and NGO work, it provides assistance for individual children in response to specific needs.

Sometimes, all a child needs to go to school is some rice, a school uniform, some pencils and help with transport. Individual donations can resolve such a dilemma and allow education to continue.

The fund provides help (in kind) with transport, physical mobility, educational resources and tuition, medical and nutritional needs for disabled, poor and disadvantaged children to attend school.

To raise money for KCF and to publicise it, Kampot postcards are available. Any donations are gratefully received, including other pictures of Kampot Province, which might make other attractive postcards too.

Where: Visit the VSO office - Provincial office of Education, Youth and Sport, near the Viet Nam Cambodia Friendship Monument.

When: KCF meetings are held monthly and volunteers are most welcome to attend
