Provincial Training Centre (PTC)

All visitors are welcome to visit Kampot PTC, meet trainees and see the whole process of traditional Cambodian fabric weaving.

At PTC, students learn how to dye threads of cotton by using extracts from native Cambodian trees and fruits, and weave traditional fabrics for making Krama (scarf) and Sampot Haul (sarong).

By using these fabrics, students sew clothes and bags which are sold at the school and Epic Arts Cafe. This helps with income for students from poor rural families and helps them gain skilled work after graduation.

Orders for making traditional Cambodian clothes are always welcome, too!

When: Every day 7:30-11:30 (morning) and 2:00-5:00 (afternoon).
