Volunteering Opportunities

Are you interested in volunteering in Cambodia? Kampot Interact coordinates a number of projects that need enthusiastic volunteers for any length of time. Relevant experience is a bonus but not a requirement. Current projects are listed below - just click on the links for more information.

• Association of the Blind in Cambodia (ABC): Through organisations such as Seeing Hands 5 Massage and Cambodia Music Association for Disability, ABC provides blind or visually impaired people in Cambodia opportunities for increased socialisation and improving their skills and knowledge.
• Chumkriel Language School: Use your English speaking skills to help Khmer teachers instruct children and young adults in English conversation and to improve pronounciation. No teaching experience or minimum time commitment required.
• ASPECA Orphanage: Play games and spend time with the children at the Kampot local orphange, just on the edge of town. Visit by arrangement.
• Kampong Kreng School: Another opportunity to practice conversational English and interactive learning with young students near the small village of Kampong Kreng.
• Maison les Jeunes et de la Culture (MJC): Visitors and volunteers are welcome to help the children practice conversation and pronunciation, and participate in the dancing classes on Sundays.
• Rural Enterprise Centre of Chamcar Bei: Share your experience in agriculture, building repairs, painting murals, plus interact with the children attending a range of classes at this rural development centre.
• Save Cambodia's Wildlife (SCW): Volunteer to assist with field work and publications for this local Cambodian conservation organisation. No experience necessary; just your commitment to helping Cambodia's natural environment and wildlife.
